Loan Terms Hit a Record, Trucks Hold the Line
The average new-car loan now runs forty four thousand six hundred and sixty four dollars, and the payment behind it just cleared seven hundred eighty seven, according to Edmunds data carried by CBT News. Terms past seven years now make up about one in four deals. Autoevolution and Ford's own quarterly filing cover the full-size truck fight, where Ford holds share with the least incentive money on the hood while Chevrolet and GMC outsell it combined. Auto Remarketing and ICIS add wholesale pricing and September retail numbers, and two new AI products built for dealers surface this week, one from CMe Automotive and one from IgniteUps. None of it changes what a payment sounds like at the desk on Monday, only how long it runs.
